Holland Angled DALK Scissors
Description
Designed by Edward J. Holland, MD of Cincinnati, Ohio, this scissors is used to help remove extra tissue above Descemet's membrane during Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK). This Vannas-style scissors features blunted 4.5mm long angled blades. The tips of the scissors are extremely blunted to minimize puncture risk or damage to underlying tissue when cutting the remaining tissue into quadrants following the creation of the "Big Bubble"
