Description
George Florakis, MD of New York, NY has designed this new forceps to aid in the removal of the endothelial layer from the host cornea. Its extra-delicate, reversed, triangular tips are angled 75° for improved visibility and a precise approach when grasping tissue. The gently vaulted shanks allow easy access to all areas of the cornea without stretching the wound. This forceps can be used to perform a descemetorhexis or to remove any remaining tags or remnants of Descemet's membrane from the host cornea.
